Craftisma is an independent Virginia-based online studio. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse craftisma.net, create an account, place an order, or contact us.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, delivery address, order details, customization requests, and messages sent through our contact form.

When you use the site, our systems may also receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, security events, and necessary cookie or session identifiers.

Payment-card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout. Craftisma does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate customer accounts, process and fulfill orders, calculate tax and shipping, provide order and delivery updates, answer inquiries, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain the security of the site, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

When we share information

We share only the information reasonably needed with service providers that help us operate the store, including Stripe for payments and tax calculation, Resend for transactional email, hosting and infrastructure providers, and shipping carriers. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not authorize them to use your information for unrelated purposes.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses essential cookies or similar storage for the shopping bag, account sign-in, security, fraud prevention, and checkout continuity. These functions are necessary for the store to work. We currently do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to identity verification and records we must retain for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes. You may also update account information through the customer dashboard when available.

Retention and security

We generally retain order and payment records for up to seven years, contact inquiries for up to two years, and account information while an account remains active, followed by a reasonable period needed for legal or security purposes. We may retain information longer when a dispute, chargeback, or legal obligation requires it.

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

Children and changes

The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We may revise this policy as the store or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
